RS Pole Disassembly
From time to time, a utility pole can be subject to vehicular impacts or other events that require the pole to be removed from service like changing the location of an overhead line. Lightweight RS FRP composite poles are modular and in the event that a pole is damaged or needs to be relocated, the modules can be dis-assembled. This characteristic is especially valuable if only one module is damaged, because it enables the replacement of only the damaged module, not the entire pole, which saves time and reduces cost.
In the event that an RS pole is damaged or removed from service, the slip joints can be safely and easily dis-assembled in the field. This video details the horizontal slip joint dis-assembly process however RS pole can also be dis-assembled vertically. Contact RS at info@RSpoles.com to obtain a dis-assembly tool and for more information.
